Hotel Odinsve Reykjavik

The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. the hotel was also conveniently located, allowing us to easily walk to downtown Reykjavik and explore the city. One of the best aspects of our stay was the comfortable and spacious rooms, which were equipped with robes and slippers for added comfort.

We were disappointed with the breakfast provided at the hotel. the options were limited and the hot breakfast items were not satisfying.

This hotel is perfectly located just off the main shopping area, with everything in Reykjavík within walking distance. The attached restaurant next door, Snaps, is always busy and offers delicious meals. Additionally, there are several local cafes nearby where you can grab a quick bite to eat.

The noise from the street and nearby nightclub can be disruptive during the night.

Our rooms were tastefully decorated and tidy here with balcony and a drink at the bar and super comfy beds🙂😀

Hotel is homely, with tasty breakfast, and location is unbeatable near to the church, downtown, shops.

We stayed one night and were lucky enough to be upgraded to a junior suite. The room was wonderfully clean and spacious with a sitting room like area upstairs. Very quiet room and comfy bed. Perfect location for walking around central. Most of the staff were friendly and helpful. Good-sized room with adequate storage. Lovely view across the city from our 3rd floor room. Not too pricey by Icelandic standards.

Everything was simply excellent. The hotel was ideal and cozy with incredible location near many attractions such as the church, Tjornin lake, laugevegur shopping street and many restaurants and the centre of Reykjavík. We had a savoury and wonderful breakfast with hot options, hot dishes plus great eggs. The service was outstanding, including amicable staff and a cozy bar.

Carpets leading to rooms need to be changed, sets a shabby tone. Not many amenities available, small bathroom.

Staff and location were wonderful, and all in all I appreciated this hotel. The room was brand-new with an amazing view, had wake-up service, that's cool. Btw, the airport was 0.5 miles away.

The hotel was quiet with energetic staff members and a downstairs bar. Our room was airy and bright with balcony and the buffet breakfast offered has lots of dishes. The location was brilliant, just 5 minutes walk from a Lutheran parish church. Liked the fact that check-in was easy. Our stay there was such great.

The shower water has a distinct, unpleasant smell, which can be off-putting.

Great location, modern and clean with friendly staff. However, the wall of the bath was too wide, making it difficult to climb in and out of the bath. I will recommend this hotel.

We had a top floor room with a balcony view of the city. The bed, though big, was a bit uncomfortable. However, the real highlight of our stay was the excellent location, just a short walk to key attractions and the bustling main street. We were also impressed with the staff's helpfulness and the ability to control the room's temperature. I would recommend this hotel for its great location and attentive staff.
